They dispense with the classic sound hole in the middle of the top in favour of several smaller openings at the edge of the guitar, called Multi Soundholes. This special construction has two positive effects: firstly, it increases the available vibration surface in the centre of the soundboard, and secondly, the sound comes out much closer to the ear of the person playing. Visually, the Multi Soundholes are unique in themselves. Some models are additionally decorated with elegant epaulettes.
