Hubertus Pig Sticker/Saufänger Stag The HUBERTUS Extension Knife, also known as a “Saufänger,” combines the advantages of a fixed blade knife with the flexibility of a folding knife, making it a versatile companion for hunting! In the folded state, the blade protrudes from the handle, allowing the extension knife to be used like a fixed tool for game processing or other cutting tasks. When unfolded, the blade length doubles, making the knife ideal for tracking wounded game. Extension knives have been in existence for 100 years in various designs. HUBERTUS’ model features a guard made of German silver, which pivots in front of the handle when the knife is open, providing protection against slipping into the blade. A foldable lever serves as both a safety and blade release mechanism. A brown leather sheath is included in the package. Note – this is not an automatic knife.
