This unique exhaust system offers two tones, Quiet or Loud, which the rider can switch between using a button on the handlebars. Aside from the improved sound and performance, this exhaust also provides substantial weight savings. How Does It Work? The exhaust system consists of three mufflers, including a titanium valve. When the valve is closed, all exhaust gases pass through the baffled central muffler, and the exhaust exits through the final lower muffler, resulting in a quiet exhaust tone no louder then the (OEM) exhaust. However, when the valve is open, 90% of the exhaust will exit through the upper muffler, which allows for maximum performance and no restriction. A specialized BMW electric servo operates the valve which is insulated from heat and completely weather-resistant. Activation of the bimodal valve is via a supplied switch mounted on the handlebars or RH rear rocker cover bolt that is comes with a custom wiring loom, When tuning the Stealth exhaust, the technician will customise the tune to the valve open (loud mode). The sole purpose of this exhaust is for the rider to be able to quieten the exhaust so as not to cause a nuisance to the general public and not be noticed when required, as well as have the luxury of a louder and more powerful exhaust when out on the open roads. Appearance: The surface finish is natural brushed titanium, which won’t stain, corrode, or need polishing. Titanium is very resistant to acid and salt and dissipates heat twice as fast as steel.
